By Popular Demand!

WOYWW0411

I love that blogging peeps are so honest about being really nosey ... and being open and honest about nosiness has been transformed into the fashionable thing to do on a Wednesday by Mrs Dunnit ... it takes the form of WOYWW and all voyeurs will list themselves throughout the day on this ACWEBlink! So don't get left behind or be last season daahling ... join in :0) A quick aside to Trish here ... I don't watch Strictly but I do keep up to date with it and I love CRH on BBC breakfast on a Monday!

My desk today is rather dull ... it looks pretty much the same as it did last week ... only with a different project on it ... I am getting rather good at finding places for bits and bobs on the edge of my white space as Kathy .... so nicely puts it ... so I have gone for the please let's look in your drawers request ... I could not face opening ACWEB2 each drawer ... taking a picture and then showing you the contents ... I have 69 drawers in my craft room ... yes ... I just went and counted them ... so you will have to squint to look at the contents ... having said that I am rather proud of the fact that they are all neatly labelled :0)

The mini arch book is another project from the ArtsyCrafts weekend ... this was the final project ... I still have the main project to blog ... but I am saving that for another day! It is definitely something I will be making again and again in different themes.

Opportunity knocks ...

Gothic arch Thank you Chris Rollins! I have just been waiting for an opportunity to try out my new Cherry Pie Art stamps! To my delight I find that Chris has set the Gothic Arch challenge this week and picked a theme of Black, White with a hint of red. Whoopee!

I can say whoopee now ... but there was n't much whooping going on while I was cutting them out and mounting them I can tell you. Still 'tis done now and I shall never have to go there again! [With this set anyway!!!]

Lots of white acrylic paint and black embossing powder on this one! Does anyone know why out of all embossing powders the black one has a mind of it's own and spits occasionally???... I thought I read somewhere that it was something to do with the pigment ... but I am not so sure now!

Happy Halloween!

halloween

Yes I do know that Halloween is in October! I also  know that I am English .... so it is not a holiday either - but I love my new Stampotique stamp sooooo much I have stretched my entry to the Theme Thursday Challenge to the limit!

The challenge is favourite holiday and although I love Halloween, my favourite holiday is in fact, Christmas!

Hey Ho!

My new stamp is fab though is n't it????

DSC00003 I am not sure the skull and crossbones are very halloweeny either - but I like them too.

If you are not convinced ...... Here is a pumpkin for good measure!!!

Friday, May 23

It's been a while .....

Since I have hFairydellad a go at the Gothic Arch Challenge.

No other reason than lack of time really - I love the shape.

Last Sunday's challenge was Flourishes.

Regular visitors will notice that I have n't actually gotten around to putting the copper embossing powder away yet! Although these flourishes did n't need 400+ layers ..... that was a bit of a relief, I can tell you.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone whatever you are doing!

My Doll and Me!

The theme for the Gothic Arch challenge, set last Sunday, was my Doll and Me!

I got off to a great start and found this beautiful image on a vintage image site.

Dolly

Basically that is as far as I got!

Tonight I decided I MUST do something with it ..... if I did n't hurry .... well ..... this Sunday's challenge is definitely not going to be my doll and me!!!

This is a first for me ..... I have never used a photo image on my work before ..... still managed to get a bit of rubber in there too though!!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

A ticket to ride!

So excited by my gothic arch from yesterday I decided I wanted to make a book of them. Obviously each page on a book has two sides and I had loaded the other side with stash and raised bits, well, it had to become the backside of a page. Are you still with me?

So what to do about the front side?

Well, if a girl is going to Gothic Arch 1 heaven .... she needs transport - does n't she?

So for the front of the page I incorporated the Sunday Stamper challenge! Transport - a flying car!

I added the same colours as the back page and I got out one of my fave stamps .... actually I have hundreds of favourites!

So here is the front of yesterdays gothic arch!

Gothic Arch 2

In my excitement to make it  a page, I stuck it into the Bind it all before I photographed it ..... oops! But I think you get the idea and you can clearly see it is a front page ..... not the cover mind, just the front page!

Show me heaven!

I thought I would have a bash at the all new artistic stamper blog challenge. The blog candy looks rather yummy and so do the DT samples. The theme is architecture .... and I am a bit restricted in that department .... owning just the one stamp with any thing architectural on it .... and that is a gate!Architecture 2

So here is a close up of the gate. I have to admit it is a rather lovely gate and the angels are rather lovely too.

However, I was still worried that this was not  "architectural" enough!

That is when I had an idea! Few and far between at my age I can tell you! Ta Da!

Architecture

A gothic arch .... you can't get more architectural than that!

You are right in thinking tis all very pink, but I am of the opinion Heaven is very pink .... Or it would n't be heaven ..... would it????

Fab challenge Artistic Stamper peeps .... I shall look forward to the next one!
