The circle of life!

That heading has absolutely nothing to do with this post .... but I am all out of titles!

I love this stamp. Unfortunately I cannot remember if it is Oxford impressions or Paperbag studios.

I remember the shopping trip well though. Andrea and I went shopping together online. She was an hour and a half drive away from me at the time and she still managed to convince me to buy more than I should! Probably because she knows all the cool places to shop .... she did n't need to twist my arm at all!

I am quite please with the sequin waste effect. I dabbed embossing ink through the holes and sprinkled on gold detail embossing powder for the raised and textured look. The ink comes in a bottle rather than a pad .... I think the pad may have been a bit hit and miss but the dabber worked well.

I am rambling now - sorry for the pun! [shoes - rambling - get it?] .... Well I laughed :0))

I think I may have overdone the gold on this one .... but you can't take it back so it will have to stay!!! That photo negative stamp is easily my favouritist Tim stamp ever ..... I think I shall be using that on almost everything now! I also got some eclipse tape from Stamp Addicts - I usually use post it notes but the eclipse tape is much better for masking .... not that the bit I masked actually made it to my finished piece .... but it did work well :0))

Have I done the back before putting the brads on? I hear you ask .... erm ..... No!

This time I managed to incorporate the Sunday Stamper challenge and added a pink party hat .... with diamonds of course!

Thank you so much for letting me set the challenge Hels in honour of my birthday - I hope everyone has enjoyed/will enjoy this challenge as much as I did!

I'm so dizzy, My head is spinning!

Not my finest hour - me thinks! I decorated the back of this one and forgot I needed to stamp this side as well.

Definitely dizzy - you would think I had made enough of them by now to at least know what I was doing! Anyways .... I had to guess at the design i.e. the size etc., Does n't look too bad .... but it was bloomin' tricky to do.

It is probably a good time to share - I have a talking Dymo gun! Yup .... it speaks! How cool is that? When you cut the tape, she says OUCH! A crafting must have if you ask me!

Round and Round in circles!

Another circle for the collection.
I have been round and round in circles in more ways than one today! Dorothy, my sat nav, does n't like non-digitalised roads! Heading for Bedford - she just kept trying to send me home again! Nearly succeeded as well!
I have had a great Birthday Eve .... craft shopping, chatting and lunching with a friend.
New stash will be appearing very soon :0))

I wish I had not thought of that title ..... I keep humming the tune ....very badly and that is the only line of the song I can remember!!!

This is the image I shrunk on the last post. Aint she cute? She is also from Oxford impressions.

The hearts are punched out of red glittery paper and the rose bud started life a very dully grey. Amazing what you can do with a bit of gold krylon.

The circles are still around!

I need to start thinking of better titles for this circle tag book. Suggestions on a postcard would be gratefully received :0))

I am still sticking to the Oxford Impressions Paris sheet of stamps and have added the Stampers Anonymous dream stamp to this one. The collage background is made from an old book page and some of the K&Co journey papers.

The brad is HOTP [QVC TSV] and so is the brad transfer .... first time I have used these and was pleasantly surprised how easily it went on.

The pinky plummy Mulberry paper was made by me with a bit of glimmer mist, some brick red re-inker and a bit of heat setting.

I quite like the effect.

I have just realised you cannot see the image on the shrink plastic in the picture - which is a shame coz it is gorgeous. I shall try and include her full size on my next page.

Still going around in circles!

These circles must be making me dizzy! I am struggling to craft today as I seem to have caught some sort of bug! Either that or it is the circles!

I have used chalk inks in plum, eggplant and pink for the background. The rather miserable looking lady from Oxford Impressions does n't look miserable at all when you shrink her .... she just looks loved up! All the stamps are from the Oxford impressions Paris collection.

This is my challenge entry for Sunday Stampers this week - the theme being "Laydees".

I rubbed a Versamark ink pad around the edge to give a different texture to the Krylon pen on the last one. Then I embossed with The Stamp Man's gold detail embossing powder.

I have had one of those days. You think "great it's Saturday - craft day!" Then one thing leads to another and before you know it - the day is gone and you have nothing much of anything to show for it!

Well this is all that I have made today. One side of a Maya Road Coaster chipboard book.

It is pink, in honour of the My time To craft challenge that I cheated at earlier in the week! The quite miserable looking lady is from the Paris set by Oxford Impressions. If you get chance check their gallery out - 'tis breath taking.

Butterfly is a Penny Black script stamp and the background script stamp is from The artistic Stamper.

I am off to bed now - hopefully to dream up some ideas of what to do tomorrow - Good Night all!
