Morning Bloggers!
The theme over at Simon Says Stamp and Show this week is Kings and Queens ... I know ... I know ... Mona is n't really a Queen and putting a Crown on her does n't really make her one ... and she is n't British either ... but a theme is open for interpretation right??? And she is now the Queen of my desk! I kind of got carried away with the whole Union Jack and The Wendy Vecchi Art Parts combo and then realsied I did n't actually have a King or Queen to fit inside the pocket watch ... so Mona with a Crown it is! Does anyone else do daft stuff like that? Or is it just me!
Mona is indeed the very first Lord Tim of Holtz stamp that I ever bought ... you know Tim ... the man that can part the seas while sleeping on the clouds with just a Crimson Archival Re-inker and a Long Legged Brad!
I have had the weekend from hell as far as computers are concerned! I often use my PC in my craftroom ... but there I was ... late Friday night ... surfing the net in the comfort of my sofa ... with my laptop ... when ... a virus struck! I have no idea how long it was lurking ... but it seemed to happen very fast indeed! So ... I am here to do a good deed ... Firstly ... Don't let your Anti Virus programme lapse ... EVER! and ALWAYS back up your bits! Sadly I lost everything from my lap top because the virus was so severe ... the very nice lady from Dell had to restore my whole system to the factory settings! I always thought ... Yeah Yeah ... it won't happen to me ... then it did!
Righty-Ho ... I must away ... don't forget to join in with the challenge ... Simon Says Stamp are once again donating a fabulous $50 Shopping Spree as a random prize ... and the team LOVE to see your work!
Have a good week!
Laters!

Yikes, what a nightmare! I keep thinking about doing a backup.... Love the art though, and why can't Mona be Queen (for a day anyhow)!
Oh no, nightmare! Get a MAC They are far less likely to get a virus - I converted after years of hesitation. I wouldn't ever go back to PC now!
Aaarrgh, total nightmare!!! I've just got a new computer & I will be backing up everything on an external hard drive.
I LOVE your 'Royal' piece, of course Mona is a queen!
Oh no! what a complete pain for you!! Love your royal piece of art - Mona makes a fab queen xx
Oh dear, what a pain. Mona defo suits being a queen
I love Mona being Queen of your desk and why not. Love the flag, that set is one of my favourites. Computer virus, yak what a nightmare, hope everything gets sorted soon. Tracy x
How dreadful on the virus! I'm loving your piece, especially how the flowers and watch are hanging off the edge... super cool desktop creation!
EEEK! I am a lapsed person, will get onto it straight away, thanks! Great arty work.
OOoo Im doing a curtsey to your fabby piece.....very regal and full of gorgeousness x
hope the lap top has recovered xx
I love this, queen or not, who as art has to be real?
Back up, back up, back up! And use Avast! It's free and updates automatically. What a shame to lose your data like that. =0(
Mona was my first Tim stamp too but I hadn't a clue who Tim was at the time ............. boy has that changed, lol! Love that you made her Queen of your desk.
I'm a computer numpty and although I do have anti virus I must find out how to back my stuff up. We only have the laptop so it would be disastrous if I lost everything on here.
Hugs

Hi Linda. I think your idea about open interpretation is absolutely spot on! If you want Mona to be a queen, she's a queen! :) I love your design and your use of Wendy's Art Parts. Love the Artistic Outpost stamps, too!! I recently got those from Simon Says and can't wait to use them! <3 Candy
I love this Linda & why shouldn't Mona be a queen?
C xx
