Emotionally Scarred!

SSSC1110 Yep ... That's me ... emotionally scarred!

I have never quite got over Lord Tim of Holtz giving that well known crafting celebrity ... Ms. Bibby ... from QVC that necklace! It is etched on my mind ... in slow motion I might add! I still have nightmares about it!

What's a girl to do ... well the only thing available to her really ... make her own! So ... this week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show is metal ... and that is exactly what I have done! Please feel free to join in ... there is another shopping spree up for grabs! SSS1110

My necklace is slightly different from the one featured in Lord Tim of Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities ... you know Tim ... the man that can top the medals tables at the Commonwealth games all on his own ... with just a jump ring and one of his baubles. I mean ... there is still time for him to reclaim it ... and a girl does n't want two the same ... now does she :0)

SSSa1110 Once I had made this ... well ... I got a bit carried away filling bottle tops with pictures from the Lost and Found stack ... then I wanted to make another necklace ... so I had a dig through my bits and ... once again ... inspired by Lord Tim ... I created another necklace!

That is me for today ... I have a loooooong "to do" list and somewhere along the way ... my nails need filling ... Oh yes ... I am a gel nails convert ... if I manage to keep them nice for a whole day ... I may even blog them ... Have a good week people ...

Laters!

Sad thing is, I am not sure Ms. Bibby would really appreciate that lovely necklace either, not as much as you any way! But what you have made is well up to his Lordships standard, you might even give him a run for his money!

Gorgeous necklaces and bottle tops - I went in for a close-up of all the pics - and I esp love the first one: Very wearable.

Total gorgeousness. Lets hope she turned green with some allergic reaction eh? What?

Gel nails? What are they? Being a non-girly girl I'm getting all sorts of strange images in my head now.

Lovely, lovely work. Dare I say that Tim's work is too masculine and grungy for me and that I prefer your necklaces? It's true, even if I'm not allowed to say it out loud ;)

What a gorgeous necklace. Two of them, in fact. I have only altered bottle caps twice and I see yours are awesome. I read your previous post and have to say, it is the ONE day when both you and I can say 10/10/10 and not have to think since you say 10 October and I say October 10. BTW, 10/10 comes around every year when we can do that (grin).

Love the necklaces. They are fab. Can I ask, is that an old empty watch you filled with the dice etc? Where would I be able to get one?!
Thanks heaps! Anika
