Have you seen ...

Beer20a

a white rabbit ... on a beer mat before? No? Well this is a first then!

I am feeling quite smug ... I have managed to do the Sunday Stamper challenge on a Sunday ... it has been a while since that has happened! The theme is white rabbit!

This rather lovely rabbit is from the Oxford Impressions Classic Alice plate ... prepare yourselves ... I think I may go a bit Alice mad in the next few weeks ... it really is a lovely plate.Beer20

It even has some teensy weensy images too that are just perfect for Tim Holtz' film strip ribbon. You know Tim ... the man that can walk on water while herding several large elephants through a hole the size of a jump ring and still be home in time for tea with just a decorative key and a metal corner! I say just perfect ... I did have to mask bits of them ... but you knew what I meant ... Did n't you?

It is lovely and sunny here ... really sunny and quite warm ... it is very peaceful too ... well it was until John realised he has forgotten to buy Yorkshire puddings ... now it is slightly less peaceful ... I may go and draw him a map to the shop ... I do like to be helpful ... and if he is that bothered :0)

Well ... that is me for today ... How peaceful is it at your place? I may come visiting later ... all this rabbit talk has bought on a spell of hopping ... blog hopping I hastened to add ... the other sort is far to energetic for me!

It is gorgeous and its lovely to see the blogs Alice in Wonderland crazy. I haven't been to the cinema for years - but this will tempt me.

Our little home is peaceful. I cooked Yorkshire puds for lunch - and froze some - tsk I could have sent them over. Freezing here really really freezing - the poor chooks water was frozen solid!

I am just about to have a slice of my home made bread still slightly warm, butter melting under my home made strawberry jam - Pat is watching the footie with the sound off - well trained huh - and bantams are flying around the garden cramming as much inset catching and grass eating as they can, as it will soon be time for their bed!

I am in the middle of turning a duckie into a Mad Hatter. Sssh it's a secret for the swap ;) Saw the film yesterday, looooooved it! Love you beer mat too - the bunny should be proud to grace it and is that literally ribbon that film strip? It's gorgeous!

It's mayhem here, trying to tune out the madness and craft - so far it aint happening though!

That is just Fab Linda. I love all this Alice in Wonderland stuff about - I might just have to invest in some of these stamps and give it a go

Just got this months issue of Craft Stamper and was admiring your altered beer mats in there - may have to go visit a pub - just so I can nick some beer mats - not for a drinkie poo you understand.

How strange that you should blog an Alice White Rabbit, so have I. Funnily enough I am re reading Alice In Wonderland and the I looked at the picture of the white rabbit in his court clothes in the book this morning and thought 'Now I would love a stamp of that image'...and here it is Thanks Linda.

Think we've all been caught up in the Alice mode at the moment, I'm loving the beer mat - I've got stacks but they are relatively boring square ones - my Mum said yesterday - what on earth are you going to do with those - now there's a challenge! LOL

I love your descriptions of Tim - if you took your descriptions from your blog you could write him the most amazing book!

Hope you resolve your Yorkshire pudding problem, my hubby is in the kitchen making them as we speak!

Yeah, I love all your beer mat art too Linda and this one is no exception.

It's odd though, I think I must be about the only crafter that doesn't like Alice in Wonderland. I made myself read the book several times as a child each time thinking I'll like it better when I'm a bit older but I never did.

Love the film strip ribbon.

Love the beer mat, Linda. That Oxford Impressions set is wonderful. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the rest of it. Lamb this week, so no Yorkshires. It wasn't very peaceful here today as I was busy sorting out stuff in my bedroom, but hoping to get into the craftroom any minute now.

Love the White Rabbit! Just returned home from seeing the movie in 3-D, it's a must! Now I am absolutely inspired to create art! I am dying to create some art with steam punk influence! Anyway, I wanted to comment on the use of the tiny Tim Film Ribbon. It's brilliant!

Well Linda - you are quite as Mad as a Hatter - so I bet the Alice theme came quite natural!!! Its now Monday but Sunday was quiet and peaceful, cold but bright in Chesterfield. Tut Tut - nicking beer mats (what 'brand' were they - must send hubby to local for a few)!!!
