How We Suffer for our Craft!

ZZproject10310

And Oh my goodness am I suffering!!!

I bought this lovely pink pen holder in Tescos for a pound!

Bargain!

So then I measure it ... cut myself some yummy Ten Second Studio Pink Diamond metal ... make a humungo tape sandwich with black card and whack it through the Big Shot with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Lovely Jubbly!ZZproject1c0310

Next I punch all the holes with my trusty Bind-it-All ... pick some ribbon and I thread and I tie and I cut ... until I am happy with the finished piece ... finally I add some extra bling for the flower centres.

It looked a bit bare so I scratch my head and decide to fill it with Cadbury's chocolate eggs ... we are working on our Spring themed submissions ... and I am quite chuffed with the idea ... so coat on ... de-ice the car ... it was last week in the winter ... not this week now it's summer ... I drive back to Tescos and I purchase the chocolate eggs ... I needed a 360g bag ... the pot was bigger than I thought and I needed you to be able to see the contents ... drive home ... open the bag ... stage the tin ... take several piccies ... upload them and I am ready to submit forPinktin the Zutter DT. Phew!

I can hear the cogs ticking from here ... you are wondering how I suffered ... where was the pain? ... the hardship? ... the suffering?

................................

Well someone had to eat all those eggs and now I feel really sick :0)

Okey Dokey ... now for the official stuff ... if you are here for the Kit N Kaboodles Bunny Hop Crop  Blog Hop ... try saying that with a mouthful of mini eggs ... then the direction you should be hopping in is Lynda's place which can be found by clicking here!

And if you happened across my blog first and you fancy joining in the hop ... then you want to start here.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Cor blimey I had to check I was on the right blog! Pinkness alert! It is gorgeous.

I feel for you, how brave and selfless of you to scoff all those eggs on your own. No one knows the things we crafters have to do for our art! *sigh* :D

Oh it's GORGEOUSLY pink! (You may have noticed I'm a bit keen on it myself)and love how you have transformed it. The only bit which puzzles me is WHY you had to photograph it with eggs in, when pencils would have done ... or am I being a bit thick here????????

Nah! pencils look okay but the eggs look much better.

Fab idea Linda and such a funky pot! The chuckle I get when I visit your blog sets me up for the day so thanks Linda. Hope your weekend's a good one.

I have a tip to ease your suffering next time - scrunch tissue paper up in bottom of the container, buy the small pack of eggs and nobody will ever know the difference ;) Looks great Linda!

OMG - so pink and so girlie - what have you done with Linda please?

It's just gwaaaargeous! I think you did the right thing eating all the choccie eggs, they would only have gathered dust had you left them, or got buried under a stash mountain, splashed with distress inks.......
