It's Snowing!

This is dedication this is! Here I am tucked away in a hotel room near East Grinstead ... snow falling heavily outside ... cold and alone ... and I still managed to blog! Now I reckon that is 4days in a row ... and I possibly deserve some sort of a medal.
I have had a really lovely day demoing at the Craft Barn ... I met some really lovely people ... and played with some really yummy stuff!

Obviously this is me we are talking about ... so I used lots of Ranger Distress Inks and Stain ... mainly Lord Tim of Holtz stamps and dies ... you know Tim ... the man that designs each individual pattern on each individual snow flake while walking on water with just a smidgeon of Picket Fence Distress Stain and a Tiny Attacher! I also got to play with one of JoFY's Lynne Perrella Paper Artsy Stamps ... I need to get me some of those ... they are Lush ... with a capital L!
Right ... I must away ... I have my journal stuff with me ...
Say no more!
Don't forget to leave me some chat in the comments ... I am all on my lonesome after all ... oh and if you have friends in high places ... please ask that the snow melts as quickly as it is falling ... I need to drive back to Cambridge after my class tomorrow!!!
Laters!

What - no bar in hotel or mini fridge in room - that was bad planning. I'm about 25 miles south west of EG - and got quite a bit of snow here. Hope all goes well tomorrow ....

I bet your class was great, wish I could join you. I hope the snow is lovely, but not disruptive for your journey home. Keep warm and snuggly! Elaine x

Glad you had a good day with your demos. Your samples are fab Linda and I so wish I could have been there to watch. I'd have to brave the M25 to get there though and I don't think I dare, lol! I'd have to stay over too. Mind you we could have shared a bottle of something nice with a couple more crafty friends to take our minds of the snow, lol! It's been snowing like the devil here in Notts for several hours now and settling well. My DD is here with her two little ones and is cock-a-hoop 'cos it's settling well. I, on the other hand, keep looking out the window willing it to stop. I hate the stuff because it makes getting around so awkward. I do hope you get home without too much difficulty tomorrow but first, I hope you enjoy the workshop. Now that I would like to be there fore!

Hugs
Lesley Xx

PS Well, you did ask for chatty and I can chat for England once I get going ;o)

Why are you a lonely little petunia in a snowy patch, my poor darling? Whack the heating up, snuggle up in bed in your jimjams, you'll have lots to write in your journal today - lovely warm thoughts and great satisfaction of your successful day.

How can you be lonely - that stalker of yours with the big golden crown keeps popping his head around the corner to keep an eye on you.

He's giving me the eebee geebies keep doing that and putting me off my comment - so I am cutting it short - enough is enough - he's really creeping me out now.

Sleep tight my honey, sweet dreams of your handsome golden boy - and you'll wake up all altered, and happy.

Safe journey home
xxx

Oooh er! I do hope you can get home safely. I'm sure you will. I got back through it today and saw some wondrous snowy/icy sights with cars festooned with icicles. There was a car roof box which looked as if it had fringes all around..... icicles! Wish I could have taken a pic.
It was worth while for you as no doubt you made so many people happy today! good luck.,

Glad to hear you've had a brilliant day and hope your class tomorrow goes just as well. Think of this time as quality "me" time, tuck yourself up with your journal and get journalling.
Had plenty of snow in Warwickshire and the sky still looks like it has more to give although it has stopped for the time being. I'm like you - I want a mini heatwave tomorrow so it all melts and we can just get on as normal.
Take care, safe journey home tomorrow

Hope you enjoyed your class as much as those taking part have done Linda - and I am sure you will be fine getting home, as the main roads are clear and well gritted. Wish I could have made it, but will definitely be there next time. Stay warm and safe xx
