On a scale of one to ten ... just how impressed are you that I am blogging for the third time in three days! I know ... lots of other super human bloggers blog a lot more often ... but I am trying :0)
I could say ... blogging twice today ... because I have blogged for The Craft Barn DT today too with this little book I made ... but I won't push my luck :0)
You cannot tell from this post that I am actually typing at like a gazillion miles an hour! I have been doing a childs keyboard course on line ... it means I can use a few more fingers that I used to .. to type ... I am still not using the right fingers ... but hey ... I am keyboard challenged at the best of times ... so this is a huge step in the right direction!
Right ... back to the book ... it is a kind of technique journal ... no words ... just different ways of attaching stuff to acetate neatly! The main slide frame thing was the genius idea of Shari Carroll ... I wish I could take credit ... but I saw it in the book and loved it!
They are Lord Tim of Holtz cogs that you can see ... and his clock ... each on a different page so it kind of gives the impression you are looking into the workings of a clock. This was really hard to photograph ... so you may not get the full effect.
You know Tim ... the man that can put a name to every face on the gazillion dollar entity that is Facebook while constructing a scale model of the Olympic Stadium in gold Sovereigns with just a locket key and a mini paperclip.
Right ... I must away ... I have a todo list as long as the longest to do list! Have a great weekend ... see you tomorrow ... hopefully!
Laters!

Amazingly I am just about to make a second sample of a book I've just finished but this time with acetate pages. I got the idea as I was nodding off so forced my eyes open and jotted it down. Mine will be really different but your's has really inspired me into believing it will work well. I love the way you can see through all the layers and your detail is fantastic.

Great book - love the way you've used acetate to show the insides of a clock.
I saw this on the Craft Barn blog this morning and it looks just as fab over here!!
Have a great time tomorrow - hope the weather we're threatened with doesn't disrupt you too much...
Looks gorgeous. Love the text visible on the cover.
Oooh Linda, that is fabbydoozy and I want one!! Where did you find the destructions? I have clear stuff... I have clock bits coming out of my ears... I can do this... I am sure I can!! LOL
Oh and nice to see you posting regularly again... I missed you!!
Good on the old typing skills too... I was a horrid Mummy when my son was 7 he wanted to play with my computer and I told him he had to learn to type properly before I would let him near it... he did and is an absolute whizz on the keyboard now!! LOL
There were no destructions for the book Annette ... I made it up as I went along ... the only bit I used destructions for was the framey bit and that is in Shari Carroll's book "Layers". You could do it all easy peasy!
I bet your son is grateful to his Mummy now!
What an absolutely fabulous project!
Hugs

This is fantastic, I gave it a WOW on the Craft Barn blog.
