First up ... here is my canvas for the Wednesday Stamper Challenge ... where this week the theme is Spring! LOVE my white Sharpie Marker ... probably more than is healthy to be honest! Please Michaels come open a branch in the UK!
Second up ... is the evidence of exactly why Tea Gate occurred ... now I want you to look at the exhibits and the facts and then put your hand on your heart and tell me ... Was my mistake really that stoopid? And don't say "no" just to be polite ... you are on the stand ... so you have to tell the whole truth and nothing but :0)
Exhibit A is the box ... all writing in Japanese ... it was handed to me and I distinctly heard the words ... Green Tea! Now bear in mind ... that on the news we are seeing just how progressive and efficient Japan is! I mean they have already rebuilt a major road for goodness sake! Here in the UK ... we would still be talking about who was going to be on the committee to work out where we were going to hold the road rebuilding meetings!
Exhibit B are the contents of said box. Now I just thought it was genius ... that they had worked out how to freeze dry tea or summink ... Is it or is it not a Green Tea kind of a colour? Once you had seen these guys ... would you buy a pack to put in your lunch box?
And now people ... it's over to you!
Laters!

Erm if you hadn't told me they were snacks I'dve said ooh that's a new embelly I've not clapped eyes on yet!!

Oh Linda you do make me giggle!!!
I love your blog, I know if I'm feeling rubbish I can always rely on you to cheer me up!!!
I think I would have put them on a plate and spied on the poor boy to see what he did with them!!!
Not that I ever do anything to embarrace myself (I once phoned the doctors for a repeat prescription of the pill, waffled away as you do only to find I had rang a builders firm, exit from phone box one very red faced teenager!!!!)
this is still making me giggle hahahahaha
Hi there, If I'm totally honest, after investigation (I would have sniffed them at least) I like to think I would have worked it out............ but I do tend to kid myself from time to time, so I dunno:0) BUT it would have been fantastic to have been a fly on the wall to see the reaction to it floating in a cup of hot water and presented to the young man for breakfast, hilarious. I think you can feel vindicated here and Thanks so much for the giggle:0) xxx
Well, I've not seen the original post, but they look a lot like rice cakes to me. I'd certainly eat one.
nope, looks like a rice cracker... I didn't have to Google what a rice cracker looked like or anything to confirm that ... ROFL
Lovin the artwork... want me to get you another white pen?? :O))
No comment !!!
Love the art piece! When we had a Japanese exchange student we experienced similar things. We also have a bottle of what I'm presuming is ink...like to do some of the blue & black pen drawings but my luck it's something to drink and has now spoiled! lol
love the canvas! and the cookies... they look like some embellishement! lol
Great canvas, love the colours.
I am with the rest, they don't look like something you'd eat to me - or drink, come to that!
After the day I've had you did cheer me up!
Nope... you are just plain nutty... ok... so the packaging was a tad misleading... and I'm not sure I would want to drink the tea or eat the crackers!!
Now that is a very green background.....is that tea coloured? :-)
Would make a nice snacky pair of Bet Lynch style earrings :0)....once you've finished dipping them in hot water that is rofl...
Fab card as always. White pen is an essential, love them.
Great canvas. You've made me want one of those sharpie pens too and I think I've found a uk stockist. :-)
I don't agree with anyone! My interpretation is that they are either mini pancakes (he must have known we were going to celebrate Shrove Tuesday) - or, those little 'wafer' thingies that they give for communion instead of bread - only as they have been in the box that long, as you can see - they have tinged to green around the outer edge....and that's my story your honour! *Hand held to the square*. ~Glen~
Maybe by throwing it all in the water you might have just invented the new Green Pee Tee Distress Ink shade.
I lived in Japan for a year and these are a kind of rice cracker with seaweed extract. Watch out - likely to smell fishy. If you want to stump your guests next time - to feel a wee bit better - try Stilton or cutlery. Normally they run a mile at both. If it makes you feel a tad wiser - on the way to the NEC I put menthol nose drops in my eyes. Never had a minty feel there before. Could all be down to Blog Blindness and general insanity...

Err...well they do look like rice crackers..but not very appetising ones and I think would be best used with a couple of tattered floral dies cuts, ribbon and a button to make a pretty (but smelly and soon to go soggy) flower embellie! Esther xx
Now in yor defence errr the box does look like it would hold tea, the other pic however rofl is debatable whether you would use it as an embellishment or eat it. Love your spring inspired canvas:)
HA! They look like something you stick on a LO, very Jillibean-esq!!! *LOL*
OK We forgive you gor goodness sake!!! tee hee

You can get the white sharpie markers from Hobby Craft. http://direct.hobbycraft.co.uk/search/sharpie
The online shop is out of stock on the extra fine but if you have a local store it might be worth a visit.
I was going to email the details to you but couldn't find your email addy, my browser didn't like clicking on your email button. :(
OMG such a giggle - they don't look edible at all - but as for tea - not that either!!! I think you should recycle perhaps they could be used for crafting well the box anyway. Thanks for sharing.
Your canvas is Fab Green seems to be the colour!
Oh Linda, it's not often I let things get me down but I've had an absolutely foul week and your post was just what I needed. I can now say goodnight to the day with a smile on my face. In close up those 'crackers' look like mouldy mince pie tops. The box is crying out to be altered though.
I love the canvas and you've now given us all another must have - a white Sharpie Marker!
Hugs
Lesley Xx
No - most certainly not - they look awful
the white pen certainly does highlight this gorgeous art piece
Sharpie needs to get on the stick and make it available to artists EVERYWHERE!
Happy Spring
oxo
great canvas - coool cookies!
With the comment about green tea, I gues they might be the kind of cookies japanese eat with green tea. Proper tea ceremonyt green tea is quite bitter, and if those cookies are meant to accompanyt tea ceremony type tea, then they will be very sweet.. so take bite and check!
an honest mistake! anyone could have made it! use them as flower embellishment highlighted with the white sharpie and some distress ink... wot would Sir Tim do? otherwise put them in a flower pot and see wot grows!
Love the canvas and now I need a white sharpie, Ill be New York soon so Ill raid Michaels, place your orders now...
(Snigger!) I bought my fine liner white sharpies from ebay.com - they worked out really cheap even with postage from the US. I was going to get one from Amazon.com but I came to the checkout for one pen and it was going to be £28 postage!!
fabulous!!! I love green Linda so this is just won-der-ful!!
