Time for a Challenge!

GC1a

The truth is ... I don't really have time for a challenge ... but what the heck ... a girl has to have some fun ... right?

The "Spring has Sprung" theme has been set over on the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog and it is open this week ... so you can use any make of stamps you want!

This was just too much of an opportunity to miss and gave me just the right excuse to try out some of my new Wendy Vecchi stamps :0) and get mucky with Distress Inks which is always fun ... everything else can just wait! I say it can wait ... I actually mean I am going to be up even later tonight now ... because it can't actually wait that long! Hey Ho!GC1

Can you see the flower centres? ... don't tell anyone but they are not actually ... erm ... Tim's ...You know Tim ... the man that can ski across the English channel on one ski ... without using his hands and make a full scale model of the Eiffel Tower out of matchsticks at the same time! I feel really really bad ... but the poppers ... or whatever you call them were only 80p for 20 pairs ... and that's like 40 flower centres ...  and they were black ... I just had to get them ... whatever you do ... don't tell him ... pleeeeease!

Best I get on with my list :0)

I'm still using press studs from cards with a price on of 9d - lol (that's what we used to call them - it's 'cos I'm old lol) that are in my grandmother's (now decesaed) box of sewing goodies.
I am sure the Great One will forgive you ........

Loved making this in class today. Have just finished the last of the cards, and used two of the flowers you stamped on paper for me, glued together. Guess what? that was the one I should have used after all, Doh! Thank you once again. You are so inspirational, and we have such fun. I do hope we aren't really a pain in the proverbial!

You see, that's inspiration. I would never in a million years have thought to use press studs as a flower centre and yet, look at them, they're brilliant! I must rummage through my sewing box - now. Also got to check my Wendy Vecchi stamps, that plaid background's gorgeous.
