Bad Thoughts!

BF40103

Does having bad thoughts make you a bad person?

If I confess everything ... Can I still go to crafting heaven? They are both tricky questions and to be on the safe side ... I am going to make a confession ... about my bad thoughts :0)

When Lord Tim of Holtz ... the man that can enter every Olympic Sport in the Winter Olympics and win a gold medal in each of the aforementioned sports ... including the ice hockey and still get cheered by the Canadians ... with only a solitary brad ... was on a certain shopping channel last week ... I confess that for several long BF30103 seconds ... at the point when Lord Tim gave a certain necklace that he had crafted with his own fair hands ... to a certain female craft presenter ... well I did actually want to jump through the TV screen and prize it off the said presenter's neck with a pair of rather sharp deckle edged scissors. Does that make me a bad person ... or did some of you out there feel that way too?

Luckily I am over the worst now ... so I made my own :0) Actually I got bored before it got to pendant length ... so it is actually a bracelet ... but a girl has gotta start somewhere! If you would like to see how I did it ... all details are on the Bubbly Scrumptious blog ... just click here!

Have a good week :0)

I'm with you Linda, I would have prized it from around said presenters neck too, wouldn't mind being wrapped around Mr Holtz's neck too, although that may look a little unsightly!
Congrats too for Craft Stamper and the fab bracelet.

That's just how I feel when Alice chucks stuff to the fake fans in the audience when he should be handing them to me personally. With a little kiss on the cheek (don't want to upset our partners *g*) Is one guitar pick so much to beg for? Is it? Is it really Alice??

*Ahem*

Where was I? Oh yes. Tim. The tramp isn't worth it - I say deckle her arse!

Yours is a gorgeous work of art Linda, absolutely stunning :)

Your wicked thoughts are not alone Linda. I saw that bit of the programme and the colour of my face and expression on it was not a pretty sight! Peeled Paint is close but not nasty enough, Lol!

I do love your bracelet though and congratulations on your CS article. Another brilliant one.

Oh Linda -

I am so laughing my posterior off! I just had a vision of you armed with the scissors hacking away at the presenter's neck. Holding the necklace in your hands, rubbing it and saying "My Precious." Thank you so much for that laugh. Now I'm off to see how you made that utterly beautiful bracelet. Be careful, I think I'm feeling that same urge to own that bracelet "My Precious"!

Fab bracelet Linda! I don't think having bad thoughts makes you a bad person... only if you actually carry them out! LOL I can't blame you for your reactions in the circumstances, most reasonable if you ask me!

By the way, I love your projects in the latest Craft Stamper... look forward to seeing lots more.

I was right there with you Linda - amongst a 'baying pack' of jealous, desperate housewives LOL so glad that you have made one - I can have a go and maybe like you, the pain will lessen with time!

Ann said...

Bad thoughts galore Linda!! I was in quite a fit of despair when Lord Tim of Holtz gifted his wonderous necklace to said presenter, as I just didn't think said presenter was worthy enough to receive such a spectacular gift - oh I said it out loud, now it's worse than just a thought!!! lol!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your beautiful bracelet!! Hugs, Ann xx

I always enjoy reading your blog, you make me smile :)

not so sure about the Canadians appreciating Tim's gold winning ice hockey goal for Team USA though....I think you've wandered too far into fantasyland :)

a quick question - how well is the Krylon edging holding up on the fragment charms? I would have thought it would wear off fairly quickly as the (fabulous) bracelet is worn?
