It's Wednesday!

WOYWW2402

And that can only mean one thing! Millions of bloggers from across the universe will be wading through snow and deserts and high seas and Martian rock in a desperate attempt to join our inspired leader Julia and display their workspace in the blogosphere.

Look above and you will see my desk as it currently looks ... yes I know it is still a tad untidy ... but hey ... I kinda know where it all is!WOYWW12402

Take a 90 degree turn to the left and you will see my yummy collection of Distress inks ... my favourite window and ... erm ... a big crack in the plaster ... I know ... I should get John to sort it ... but that would mean he would have to come up here and I really cannot face that whole ... Blimey! ... Have you got enough stuff up here? and Do you really need it all? scenario again ... I will just wait a while longer ... possibly when the outside elements start to come in ... or the wall falls off ... you know the kind of thing.

WOYWW32402 Then take a 180 degree turn ... from your original position ... not from the ink pads ... it is only 90 degrees from there and you will see my yummy collection of blending tools ... that I now discover ... I don't actually need them all ... Hey Ho! I am sure I will find a use for them :0)

I awoke this morning to four emails asking me to explain how to insert a blog link to a challenge ... so I am going to show everyone on here and invite those that want to practice ... to practice here ... I will then find you ... let you know if it was successful and let you know what you are doing wrong if it does n't work ... have as many goes as you need ... I just know I will be here most of the day visiting desks :0) I do hope someone from Mars does join in the WOYWW challenge this week!

Here goes ...

1. Click on the header of the blog post ... the one you want to link and go to the browser addy e.g http://acraftingjourney.blogspot.com/2010/02/everything-and-more.html and copy it. [CTRL and C buttons at the same time]

2. Visit the blog you want to link on and in your comment type this ...

<a href="link">title</a>

3. Now highlight the word link ... just the word NOTHING ELSE and paste the addy. [CTRL and V buttons at the same time] You should now have this ...

<a href="http://acraftingjourney.blogspot.com/2010/02/everything-and-more.html">title</a>

4. Where it says title ... highlight it and type in what you want the link to say ... e.g my challenge entry is here. You should now have this ...

<a href="http://acraftingjourney.blogspot.com/2010/02/everything-and-more.html">Find me here</a>

and your link is complete :0) It really is as simple as that.

I have a label on my computer with

<a href="link">title</a>

so I can remember the code.

Good Luck :0) And remember ... if you want to test it out here ... go for it!

You see, having a lot of stuff on your desk doesn't constitute untidy in my book, it's all tidily arranged ;) I still think it's best to have a dedicated blender for each DI not that I have. :)

Good advice about the Chocolate Linda, wonder why I never thought of that!

Now, how can you bring yourself to show such an x rated photo on your blog….well I think all those ink pads and blenders should come with a warning!
Mind you my little collection seems to be growing a bit of late and only yesterday six new colours fell in my basket while I was ordering the TSV. I just need to get one of those storage boxes now.

Thanks for stopping by.

That's a few quid's worth of blending handles you have there, Linda! Probably a lively second hand market in those if you know where to look ;o)

What do you mean you don't need all your blending tools? Just when I'm starting to get the hang of them (after Rachel's class)and thinking of investing in some more. When I say some more, that's more than the one I currently own. I still haven't set my blog up, but I have copied and printed out your instructions for the day I do.

Your desk still puts mine to shame and I can actually see actual today which is only because half the stuff is in boxes after a get together with some stamping friends. Nice tag by the way.

I have one blending tool. And the handle keeps falling off! Pah! Bit of my friend Mr No Nails needed methinks. I love your room, crack 'n' all. (That's not a crack - you should see the one in our living room where lorries keep reversing into our house. THAT'S a crack!)

Scrummy shots of your craft room Linda. Everything looks so well organised. :) I love the little labels on the sides of your Distress Ink pads. Think I will have to nab that idea if it's okay. Why is it the ink pad you're looking for is always at the bottom of the pile! Thank You for your kind blog comments don't feel quite so daft! hehe..

Best wishes, Gez.xx

Blimey...how much stash HAVE you got Linda?! ROFL. Lindaaaa...You don't REALLY need all of those blending tools. Didn't your mother teach you to share! LOL. Well, I am the proud owner of the one - for now anyways. Who knows, if I use it enough, I may find I will need more. Oh...and I LOVE your scrap room. I just wish I could get all of my scrap stash into one room! TFS. ~Glen~

Thanks for making me more clever than I was. I've shied away from creating a blog, 'cos I'm not sure what I'm doing with a lot of this kind of stuff. I've printed this info off so I'll have it when I'm brave enough to step into bloggers world, not just as a visitor.
Your craft room is lovely even the cracks not so bad.
