Ten More Sleeps!

Face1a

I am getting really really excited now ... only 10 more sleeps ... before I meet Tim ... the man that can make an ice sculpture in a desert with only half a bottle of glossy accents!

To mark the occasion of only ten more sleeps ... I have used one the Lord Tim's stamps as background to the square face stamp from Hampton art and some of the yummy Wendy Vecchi mini art butterflies.Face1

We are awaiting snow here ... which is a bit of a pain because we are on our way to up to Kent tomorrow for a birthday party :0) I say we ... I, of course, do not mean Tim and I .... which will indeed surprise you ... I mean Dan and I ... who has come to play for a few days ... it will be a quiet journey because he is really getting on my nerves :0)

So ... What are you up to today? ... and What is the correct English spelling for mould ... is it Mold or Mould?

New Tim stamp is coming soon ...

Beautiful colours! I see you picked up on my fuss about spelling! My spell check only recognises mould though so perhaps it's me!!

Once you pass the Kent border make sure you roll down the window and holler and wave... I'll be listening out ;)

I spell mould with a U but then I'm thinking mould as in mouldy and rotten whereas you are probably thinking the other one in which case I don't have a clue :P

Love your latest creation, lots of lovely purpliness and that stamp is gorgeous.

That Dan gets on my nerves too, so I sympathise completely!! :)

Another wonderful piece of art :) and more laughs hehe. As for the mould/mold I think you can use either spelling. I've got a little something for you on my blog if you'd like to hop over ;)

How fun, Linda! That's what we say in our house, too--a sweet remnant of childhood--how many "sleeps" till something we're looking forward to!

I was standing right behind "Lord Tim" in the security line at the airport right after CHA...had to pretend I wasn't totally excited. Hard to be cool when there's a genius in front of you! Have fun learning!

Wow, what a beautiful colour combination. So jealous that you are meeting T!m. Surely it should only be allowed once in a lifetime!

Love the color combo! And the mix of stamps is GREAT! I spell it MOLD.

Fabulous mould - that's the English way of spelling it. I will not hear a word said against Dan he is the main man over here - so you treat him kindly or else!

I am in my studio at the end of the garden with snow all around me - and I have come out here to make my first grungepaper flower

Wish me luck

Oh poor you hun having to put up with that Dan, he gets on my nerves too....ROFL....Oh and...I love your card..this one is for me I am guessing???? And...Mold...is the US way of saying it...Mould is the UK way (and we are always the best at speelings) and also means something that grows where it is wet and damp and smelly...mmm..now what does that remind me of? A mushroom of course, whatever else were you thinking LOL...SYADT,AICW,CIHMYB xx

Lovely! I spell it mold, but I love the look of spelling it mould *smiles*

Tim is the same all the time - upbeat, nice, thankful, sweet . . . he is definitely a special man. I get to see him several times a year and even got to spend 8 days and 7 nights with him last October! . . . on his cruise to the Mexican Riviera *smiles* Oooooooh, what a fab-u-lous time all 160 of us from around the world had!!

You lucky, lucky girl. I fantasize about that day some time in the future! There would be no problems with what to talk about.

Lovely stamped imagery there Linda. Enjoy your time with that Dan !! I would spell it 'mould'.

Hey Linda, Lovely card and sweet faces! Have a great trip! You can always just turn up the radio and rock out! LOL . Here in the US, we spell it mold!

Isn't it fun to have something so great to look forward to that we count our 'sleeps'?

Love the color combo for this project and as an American with an English husband, I am going to guess that the proper English spelling is mould because we spell it 'without' the 'u' in the US and my husband constantly reminds me of how we get it so wrong here!
