First things first ... I am rather proud of that heading ... I was running out of bean headlines :0) I wonder if you are as impressed as I am? I am thinking probably not *LOL*
Lin and I thought that it was time to show you another metal bean tin ... this was actually the first of the three metal ones that I made. You can see the other two here and here ... just in case you missed them first time around!
This one is made with the yummily luscious plum metal from Ten Second Studios and Big Daddy number 1 mould. The rose is made with the Wendy Vecchi dimensional rose art sheet as are the leafs. Both the leafs and the roses are backed with Claudine Hellmuth's sticky backed canvas.
This time the corset sides were bound using my crop-a-dile and large eyelets and then tied using 7 gypsies waxed cotton with a few beads to pretty it up a bit.
In case you are wondering how the synchronised blogging campaign is going ... well I am planning on lobbying the government ... it would be great to have it as a sport in the 2012 Olympics and Lin and I are just so good ... well we would definitely be favourites for the British team ... I have always wanted to be in the Olympics and the lack of any physical exertion involved in this new sport is very appealing to me :0)
Anybody else who has got any ideas for Olympic events ... which would be related to crafting and blogging and not actually moving from my craft room ... would be very welcome in the comments ... just in case I get turned down :0)

Bean......over to Lins'Blog, so perhaps we could have "Blog Hopping" for 2012!!! The tin is awesome, any chance of a step by step recipe for cooking up these tins?? Thanks for the inspiration.xx
Truly, which should I admire most - your capability with the language or that tin? Gotta be the tin..I LOVE the background/wrapping/wordy bit. Just fab.
I just love these tins, and when I saw some of them in real life at the ArtsyCrafts weekend I loved them even more!
This is my fave - although they are all great. I think it's the purple that does it.
Do you eat anything other than beans?
wow- that's a stunner of a tin in that colour Linda. you must have a very high fibre diet at the moment! ROFL
A-MA-ZING dahling (do you watch Stricly Come Dancing?).
Well, I love your tin, and I will certainly help you lobby for syncro blogging in the 2012 olympics (as long as the lobbying can be done sitting in my craft room...)
I love looking at your creations. They re always inspiring.
I think entering papercrafting challenges should be an olympic sport. I think I enter at least five per week at the moment. lol
This one's my favourite! Just stunning! Those dots on the petals look like little dew drops. If you ever sell these please put me down as your first customer ;)
Those flowers are awsome ...you are so clever with metal ... grunge board ... ... card .......beer mats ..... paper ... list is endless ... but this may be a silly question ...what do you do with your finished works of art that started life as a bean can? ...I imagine you home full to busting with them lol.
