That is exactly what this piece is ... a cover up!
It is the cover for a new project I am in the process of making and it is a covered CD!
This is also my entry for this week's Sunday Stamper challenge where the theme is Roses!
Right! Down to the nuts and bolts as they say ... well at least I think they do ... The background stamps ... the gingham, the dots, the squares and even the butterfly are Wendy Vecchi stamps and the text is Paperbag studios ... if you cannot see it in the piccie it says ... "Those who look for beauty find it" ... which I think is quite beautiful :0) and ... you have to look behind the rose for the word Beauty ... clever huh!??? Who said No???
The colours I have used are peeled pain and faded denim distress inks and the frame is Maya Road.
This all leads nicely to my next question ... I need an answer to a debate I have been having with some crafty buddies ...
Is it pronounced May-a Road or My-a Road? and ...
Is it pronounced Veshy or Vecky?
You really need to join this discussion and put this one to rest for us!
Thanks in advance - See ya!

what a beautiful piece Linda and I wonder who those friends might be ??????????? only the lady herself I think can answer the last question for you, I am loving all the pieces of artwork you are making with these stamps x
Another superb piece of artwork Linda!
As to your debate, I would say May-a, and Vetchy! Probably completely wrong, but then I did used to pronounce Hermione as Hermee-one when I was reading Harry Potter to my son!! Lol!
lovely piece and as for the pronunciation, I use the May-a and Vecky but have no idea at all :)
oooow ... that is so good ...an inviting cover.
I think May-a .... not sure about the other
I vote for Mya Vecky.
And lovely cover :)
Oh, click on the little red speaker here to hear how the dictionary says maya should be prounounced :)
Aha! Yes, I think it is Mya Vecky too...I think the best thing to do is ask her!! Go on, I double dare ya :O))
As for the artwork...as ever Linda it is stunningly gorgeous and I think I actually love this more than fruit..and I loooove fruit ... thanks for joinin in hunny...can't wait to see the rest of the book....hugs xxx
Superb artwork, as always.
I go for May-a and Vetchy.
I'd go with My-a Road and the surname could be Vechi or Vecky I guess the only way to find out for sure would be to ask her.
LOVE the cover of your album.
:-)
Great album cover, that quote is fab! I have enough trouble with Tsukineko so I think I'll stay out of the pronunciation debate!
its ok Linda I have E-Mailed Wendy to see if she could come and give us all the answer on your Blog, then hopefully we will all be able to pronounce Wendys surname correctly xx
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
Do you use pattened grunge papers to make your flowers?
You guys are TOO funny!
Is there a prize for the winner?
Here's the way I say MY-A ROAD...
and our last name is BECKY with a V.
This will make you laugh...Caroline, who owns My-A Road is pregnant with a girl...she could name her MY-A VECCHI Temer...
I'll let her know that's my choice of names. I doubt she'll go for it...but it's worth a try!
I hope the winner gets a good prize!

This is just beautiful. AGAIN! Can't you just once, just for me post something a tiny bit substandard? No? :P I'm kidding you - this is gorgeous and the quote is so lovely.
I would say May-a and Vetchy but am probably way off mark ;)
Lovely piece of art ! I go for mya and Vechee !

Came to you via Craft Stamper blog of the month, well done for being chosen (can see why mine wasn't after coming here) its fab.

Simply wonderful Linda and I'd opt for Maya and Vechee xx
it's My-UH and Vecchi rhymes with BECKY.
I love your art! Thanks for sharing the link with us at the Everything's Coming Up Wendy group.
