The Colour Purple!

GBang
I think I may be addicted to Grunge Board  and Paper!
Do you think it is the smell that is addictive? or just the fact that it is such fun to do stuff with? Either way it is definitely better for me than my other addictions!
I promise this is not all I have made today and I don't know why that Grunge Paper rose has shown up again ... erm ... apart from the fact that I put it there ... sorry I am still really chuffed with it!GBang1
Anyways ... back to business. The Theme Thursday challenge is Purple this week so I have made some grunge board bangles and coloured them predominantly purple.
The lovely flowers are Stitchels and they are stamped on Grunge paper and adhered to the bangle with my Crop-a-dile so there are no sharp bits on the inside.
Why ever has she made a bangle? I hear you ask ... well it is a long story but basically the Idea-ology hitch fasteners that I bought the other day remind me of the fasteners we had on the leather bangley things I wore as a teenager ... Is anyone else that old? Actually please don't answer that!
Evening all! :0)

Wow, Linda. Your colors are so fabulous. I love the way the petals are blue and purple and go from dark on the outside to paler in the center. Just beautiful.

I remember those bangles!

I still havent managed to get my hands on any grungepaper, and I SO want some. There hasn't been any in any of the real life shops I have visited (there arent any less than an hour and a half away from me), and the last time I did an online order, it was out of stock.

I have seen so many fabulous things done with it - I really want to try!

They are gorgeous Linda and what a fab idea :) I'm OLDER than that but don't remember wearing leather bangles, perhaps I was too old for them at the time ;) Oh I NEED some grungepaper now, NOW!

They are gorgeous. You have inspired me to have a go at grunge paper, alcohol inks and distress inks.

What a brilliant idea! I have (despite the rest of me being the size of half a house) really tiny wrists, and bracelets and bangles are usually way too big. I really like this idea, I could do one the 'right' size for me. Thanks for the inspiration.
