Today is the day!

Before My very first design team submission for How Dare you! I am really excited ... probably unnaturally so! The dares are set the first Friday of every month and this month the dare is "The everyday".

I decided to take an everyday item ... yup ... it is a Baked Bean tin [an empty one!] and turn it into another everyday item ... yup ... a penholder.

Dare 1 The stamp is Lost Coast Design which I absolutely adore and I have coloured the background using Lord T!ms distress inks ... I have also used the legend that is T!m's muse tokens to add a bit of glitz.

If you are wondering how I got the holes around the top of the t!m ... doh! I meant tin ... well I used my fabulous Crop-a-dile!Dare 1b

Please please check out the challenge ... I can't wait to see your interpretations of the theme ... I am unnaturally excited about that too! Dare 1a Don't forget to post the link to your work on the How Dare You blog ... or we won't know you have joined in! If you don't have a blog there are also details for emailing your work in ... coz you obviously have a computer or you would n't be reading this!

Have a good Friday everyone! I am typing this post on Thursday and using the forward publishing date wotsit ... just in case it is really sunny ... then I shall be at the seaside!

Ooh Ooh ... more excitement ... I have just noticed that Scrapz have also placed my tin in their gallery!

Love this tin - I've often looked at that face stamp - I might have to buy it now! Love the mix of black/white and colour.
