No Cards Allowed!

to this The Penny Black Saturday challenge is "No cards allowed" this week; which was just the incentive I needed to get started on some Christmas tree decorations.

I made a load last year with different images ... the idea was in Craft Stamper. This time I am using the gorgeous Penny Black 12 days of Christmas set ... the images are soooooooooo cutFrom thise.

I have gone with traditional Christmas colours ... but my daughter wants a set too ... so I shall make some brighter, funkier ones too ... I think.

Basically the decorations are an altered curtain ring ... I love making them and I love the results.

I have taken a before shot to give you a better idea of what I mean!

At least I think it gives you a better idea of what I mean!!! *LOL*

One down ... two nearly finished and nine to go ... in this set anyways!

These are amazing - and I threw away a load of curtain rings the other day! How annoying. Now I will have to trawl around the next car boot sale to find some :)
