I was completely stumped this week by the Saturday work out theme of a raster screen. I tried translating it on Google and everything!
Luckily Hilda stepped in and informed us that it meant the masking technique.
I use masks quite often .... but to make a card obviously masked is a whole other ball game!
After racking my brain with what to do I settled on Michelle Zindorf's tutorials - no one masks quite like Michelle and although this card is completely different from the one I was inspired by - the masking in circles is all Michelle's idea. Gawd Bless her - she saved the day yet again!!!
I am rambling - sorry!
Anyways this is my card .... the text stamp is from the Artistic Stamper .... Don't you just love these words????
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday peeps - I am off to devour a Sunday Roast :0)
Edit: I am not sure but I think the original translation of Raster may have been wrong. Looking at the other entries I now think that Raster may mean Grid and not mask!
As a result I have made a card using a grid and a mask .... bit belt and braces, I know .... but I always think it is best to be sure :0)
This second card is covered with my current favourite stamp from the Stitchels range. You will see this appearing a lot - because I love it :0)
My roast dinner was delicious by the way :0)

Stunning card. Well done.
stunning is what they are Linda and glad your roast was good, the film was fantastic to and after me saying I did not want to se it, back to the cards I love the bright colours to xx
Both are beautiful. I think maybe the grid pattern is closer to what raster means, but who cares. I think the ones you did are great. My online computer dictionary says this about raster:
A rectangular pattern of parallel scanning lines followed by the electron beam on a TV screen or computer monitor.
It comes from some word meaning "rake."
I don't care what it means, they are both great!
