Pretty in Pink and a Random Comment Giveaway!

I know ... I know ... I am not going mad ... this IS my project from Monday for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Red Letter Day Challenge ... but bear with me ... there is a method in my madness! Well ...
I get about a gazillion requests to try products and write a review on my blog ... seriously ... they come in thick and fast and quite often I send a standard Thanks but No Thanks response because I either don't have the time or the product is some techy computer programme that I have no hope of ever installing let alone using!!!!
Anyways ... aaaaaaaaages ago ... I gets an email from Scott ... a lovely chap ... very efficient ... he is the Marketing man at 3M. Anyways ... he asks me to write a review on the totally unbelieveably LOW priced PINK ... oh yes people ... PINK ATG package that his place are doing a deal on until 14th February! Now ... I thought about this one for all of two seconds ... especially when he offered to send me one and said yes! Obviously a pre-requisite is that I can be totally honest ... would n't dream of telling you guys it was a bargain at £9.99 and fabulous to boot ... if it ... erm ... was n't!
Now ... I have a yellow ATG ... LOVE it ... but sadly ... it is ... erm ... yellow! So when I gets the pink one ... I am immediately head over heals in love and expecting the same results ... you know  like ...erm ... making all my craft sticking easier ... perfick for cards and mini books and any manner of things ... easy to use with a trigger that controls the really smooth application of super sticky double sided tape ... no lumps or bumps because the bond is clean and very neat ... a short time to reposition if neccesary ...
And that is exactly what it delivered ... but the most important thing is ... it's PINK and not yellow ... Did I mention that already???
In the kit you get 1 tape glider in erm ... PINK and 2 rolls of Acid Free/Photo safe 1/4 inch tape and all for the bargain price of £9.99 ... just click here and be magically transported.

It's a big fat thumbs up from me ... if I had five stars I would give them to Scott ... and his PINK gun package ... but sadly I don't ... and why did I show that mini book again ... well guess what I used to stick all my paper and card down with ... seriously ... guess ... I will pick a random comment at 8pm on Friday and the winner will get a new set of Tim Holtz mounted Travel Labels Stamps ... you know Tim ... the man that walked across the Atlantic Ocean to help the GB Gymnastics team to qualify for their own Olympics while performing heart surgery on a butterfly with just a dot of Wild Plum Alcohol Ink and a 1" square of Cut 'n'Dry foam.
I must away ... I have stuff to ... erm  ... stick ... don't forget to check out Scott's deal ... What's to lose?
Laters!

I can't believe you got one for £9.99! But gotta admit though it was worth every penny I spent on mine. And it is very Pink to boot!! Going over to have a look at the package. May get a spare as I keep fancying using the non acid free tape for wrapping pressies and stuff and it would be sooo much easier not to have to faff with changing reels!!

Shazza said...

oooh I finks I need one of those!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Gotta Lurve that book you made!!

I just had to come comment - I've been naughty and lurking for ages but I had to laugh at this one.

Love the review - you are very passionate and it IS a brilliant price but I shan't be buying because, guess what? It's PINK! :D :D If he starts stocking a non-pink version, give him my addy? :P (What? A girl can try can't she?)

Lucky find to be directed to your site! Have been wanting one of these and now I have ordered one thanks to such a great review and a fab price. And a few more goodies leapt into the basket too - I am a sucker for free postage!

That book is gorgeous too - are there more pics?

Scrapmate said...

Well did you use the pink one or the yellow one to stick the mini-book? I have to say that is a great deal.

Neil said...

Look I know I'm in the minority here but why does every company think pink!? I have a reputation to maintain here you know.... But it does seem to be a bargain.... perhaps I can disguise the colour..........?

Allyson said...

I hope you're on commission for these Linda! I went straight onto the site and bought one. I love my yellow one to bits, but as you say...PINK. Best of all it's purposely designed to take 1/4" tape, no more adaptors. YAY! By the way, missing you loads already.

Karen said...

I love my yellow gun too....but I prefer pink to yellow....so I have followed your link and ordered one! The book cover just makes me want to get inky. Inspirational, as usual, but I am missing your classes. Would love to be in with a chance to win some TH stamps

I like the sound of this pink one! I sometimes get lumps and bumps with my yellow one so will be glad not to have that problem. The glue itself works great. Little tip with the yellow one make sure you only roll it in ONE direction, just saying... x

Gina said...

Would it be perchance the PINK GUN? I've been coveting that pink one! I might just have to get one at that price!!!

Unknown said...

How fabulous is this - I don't mind how many times you show it. If I buy that pink gun - will I be able to make that fandabbydozy book you made with the pink gun?

Off to buy one - to see if it has the same effect on me!!

I love my ATG. I've been using one for years now. Got one when I started working as a framer and now can't live without it. I like that it keeps waste to a minimum.

Claire said...

Love your creation Linda. I think I need an ATG, my 5 year old won't be able to use so she can't pinch my DST when back is turned lol.

Thanks for the chance to win some fabby Tim stamps Linda.
