Stuff To Say!

Blimey! Blimey! It has been bloomin' ages since I made an ATC! And I mean aaaaages! I used to make them all the time ... in fact ... every day for about 18 months ... I was obsessed I tell ya ...  obsessed with making them ... obsessed with swapping them ... and now ... well I have n't made one for aaaages! Until today of course! Why? Today? I hear you ask! Well ...
Basically the new theme over on the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog is indeed Stamp and Show an ATC!
My background is made with Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Stains ... Oh My Lawdy ... LOVE those colours! All stamps are Lord Tim of Holtz ... you know Tim ... the man that can wing walk without safety gear while making enough pancakes to feed the entire world with just a Jump Ring and an Acrylic Stamping Block.
So ... no excuse for you guys this week ... you all got to join in with the challenge ... ATC's take noooo time at all ... you know you want to ... and who knows ... you may win the $50 gift voucher donated by the beautiful people at Simon Says Stamp!
So ... who wants to know how the not smoking is going??? Well ... I have n't had a single cigarette ... not even a sniff or a snort of one since the 21st August 2011 ... the cravings are getting less frequent ... but I do have to admit ... when I do get a craving I would do virtually anything for the evil weed ... as yet though ... I have n't succumbed! Thank you all for your wonderful encouragement ... it is definitely helping!
Righty-ho ... I must away! Any of you lovely people going to Ally Pally this weekend???
Laters!

Well Linda, I am not usually an ATC person myself, but this is scrumptious, beautiful warm colours. Brilliant progress on giving up smoking - it will get easier - you are a star! I will be at Ally Pally all weekend with two of the other quartet girls. We are bound to be frequent visitors to the two Lindas! Elaine x

Congrats on staying strong with no smoking - can't imagine how hard it is. LOVE your ATC! Is it Glossy Accents on the heart? It looks really thick so I wondered if it was something different. Have a great week - stay strong!

Love the rich colours in this and the heart that looks good enough to eat. Hoping a seriously large creative block doesn't stop me having a go this week - but if you can make this whilst battling craving demons I should really be able to battle my own...!!! Thanks Linda x

Beautiful ATC. I love the colors and that heart - oh my! Congrats on not smoking. I was a 3 pack a day gal (yes, a chain smoker!) and quite 22 years ago. It's the best thing you'll ever do for yourself.

I always love the depth of colour you achieve on your pieces Linda and this is a perfect example. I need those Distress Stains, these are two colours I don't yet have. Love love the dimensional heart and the vintage images are the perfect touch. A fabulous ATC. Tracy x x

Beautiful Linda! I love it. Congrats on the no smoking. I can't imagine having to give up chocolate and I'm thinking cigarettes would be so much harder. Keep up the great job.

This is gorgeous! I haven't done an ATC in awhile - I have such a hard time fitting stuff in that little area. I'm totally inspired by yours tho. I would love to know what you did to the heart. Very cool!

A Fabaroony ATC - so much lovely inky stuff going on and that heart is a full bodied beauty. Hope you are really starting to feel the new energy and gusto without the ciggies...it's win win all round - for body, mind and soul (and the old purse is happy too). One more day and you've done a month...

You haven't lost your touch ...that is gorgeous. Well done on not giving in ...just stand by a smoker getting on a bus ...or just outside a restaurant ...and take a deep breath through your nose ...that was what you smelt like. That was the main thing that prevented me giving in ...I had NO idea a smoker smelt that bad.lol xx
