Blimey! It's Wednesday already ... and the last day of March! Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? It won't be long now and all of us ... or at least the few of us left that have n't got our butts into gear and started our Christmas cards ... will be panicking again!!!
This is my desk ... I did n't say that with any sense of pride I might add ... bit of a mess really! As the header says ... it certainly aint for the faint hearted! I was late with my last Zutter DT submission and it is still on my desk from very late last night.
An unusually pink offering for me I might add ... but after a visit from my baby ... all dolled up and freshly henna'd from an Asian wedding ... I felt all girly and wanted to make her something for a change. Now my little girl ... she is 22 by the way ... is n't the crafty sort ... but she does like her stationery ... so I made her a little note book to keep in her bag with room for notes and pockets for receipts and the like ... she is much more organised than me ... and I just know she will appreciate the pockets :0) I also added a little princess charm ... just to remind her that she is my little princess ... every second of every day.
The covers are made from plain old grey chip ... rounded off with my 1/4" Round-it-All and painted with a Snow Cap Dabber before swiping with Spun Sugar distress ink ... the pages are water colour paper and envelopes torn and swiped with worn lipstick ... as for the frame ... well that is a Lord Tim of Holtz Ornate frame ... painted and swiped ... you know Tim ... the man that can do open heart surgery on 10 people at the same time with just a speck of mica from a bottle of vintage photo distress stickles and the point off a pokey tool.
I have bound the pad with a 3/4" pink O wires and attached a Grunge Paper rose that was first painted with Dusty Pink acrylic paint and then stamped with the Shabby French script stamp ... which I lurve!
Right I am off in search of Julia ... you should all look too ... and then join in this crazy thing we call WOYWW!
