Thank God it's Friday!

Card1a2409 Blimey ... What a week I have had ... NO INTERNET! I know with all you Bloggers out there ... I need say nothing more on the subject ... but boy did I feel lost without it! No blogging ... no blog hopping ... no emails ... no WOYWW ... It did leave me wondering if I should get out more!

Needless to say ... I did n't ... and it is good to be back. I came back to 8 messages from Badul Sowedo ... telling me he needed little ole me to help him spend his millions ... I must remember to email him with my bank details ... NOT!!!!

Anyways ... enough about the internet already ... I did find I had loads more time on my hands ... made lots of cards ... I may even blog them all ... I had my nails done ... and my hair done  ... I went to LB Crafts ... had a fabulous day catching up with my lovely friend ... I even sorted out my paper drawer ... you know ... that drawer in the Card1b2409 kitchen ... where you ram all sorts of junk that you have n't got the time or the inclination to face ... then it gets sooooo full you can't cram any more in ... so you start a little pile on the work top and then before you know it ... well you have to have mountaineering training before you can reach the top of it ... or is that just me??? Go on ... spill ... What do you do with yours???

The card you can see is coloured with Lord Tim of Holtz's Distress Inks ... you know Tim ... the man that can create a Commonwealth village in his tea break while tracking Tigers in Bhutan with just a Decorative Bauble and a five ball length of ball chain!

The stamps used are Paper Artsy and Dark Room Door and that is just about it ...

Sooooooo looking forward to demoing at Ally Pally this weekend ... remember to shout Hi and show me your stash haul if you are passing :0)

Laters!

Love the card Linda. I've posted one in similar colours today - it must be the autumnal bite in the air, Lol!

Wish I could come and watch you this weekend but alas, I can't make it. I bet my friend Elaine will be coming to stalk you though, Haha!

Hugs

PS Thank you so much for the lovely comments you have left on our CSQ projects (inspired by you). We really appreciate the time you took. Xx

Missed you Linda, the card is lovely. I just know if I tried those colours they'd just end up looking sludgy. All the best for Ally Pally. I really, really, want to go but I just don't know if I can make it. Also there is the slight problem of having just paid out several arms and legs to see "The Master". I have to ask just how much more I can reasonably spend before my DH notices.

Welcome back to the land of 'web'. You feel so lost when you can't just 'hop' on for a few minutes here & there.

Awww...I know what it's like to be without the internet when it breaks down Linda! What did we ever do without it?! Love the colours of your card. They remind me of the changing colours of a Rhus tree - so vibrant. *Ü* Ohh..and I saw Tigers in Bhutan...fab...did you watch it? The guy was so emotional when he saw that a tiger had been caught on his camera after all his waiting! I felt like that when I got my pc back up and running! *Ü* TFS. ~Glen~
