No Excuses!

WOYWW0809
That is right WOYWWers ... I am not even going to venture into the land of excuse making ... this wet and windy Wednesday! I thought about telling you that there had been a natural disaster in the vicinity of my desk ... I toyed with the idea that I could blame the dog ... or John ... or both ... I even contemplated taking a picture of a tidy desk and sharing that with you ... but when push came to shove ... well this is my desk and yes it is a mess!
For those of you that worried about my drawer opening capabilities ... well fret ye not ... they all open! For those of you that showeWOYWW0809ad interest in the amount of times I opened them ... panic ye not ... these drawers hold supplies that I regularly use ... all to hand ... so I don't have to get up :0)
Nothing more I can say ... if you think I am barking ... well join the queue ... or visit Julia and she will explain why I have displayed my desk for the world to see. As for the sneaky peek ... you need to check back later for the full reveal :0)
Have a good Wednesday everyone!

I'm always in awe of people who can work in a tiny amount of space and not feel the need to clean up as you go. That's what I love about Wednesday. It gives me a new perspective on OCD (grin).

Good Morning Linda! I'm following on from Elaine's comment - I spotted the plaques too and would love to see a close-up of them!

That is a really creatively busy desk. When you're a busy crafter it's hard to stay tidy so no guilt please.

You do know that it is the natural order of life to exist as random chaos right - and why fight nature!! it is one of my many excuses and I am sticking with it. With a baby and husband (translate 2 kids) my house looks pretty much like your desk except for about 2 secs after tidying - hurrah for chaos

It's not the desk it's the work that counts no matter how you produce it.One look at a picture of Francis Bacon's studio would convince you of that-mind you some of his work does look a bit off the wall!Hugs BettyXXX

Def. coming back to check out the full photo! Looks spooky :)

I, too, have open drawers all over the place, sme as you, full of stuff I use every day. But I do have to be careful :) The ones on the window ledge overlap a ridge and too many open drawers is a recipe for disaster as they will tip forward! I know my desk often looks like stuff has been tipped over on it, but I assure you I try to keep my reflexes quick enough to catch them before that happens. any mess is me, on purpose LOL!

dont feel any shame at the mess of your room, your creativity obviously sparks from that, if you do feel shame I am thinking of starting a support group for Crafters who work in their own mess CoWTOM for short LOL, ok need to take my tablets now

Not a messy desk, Linda, a creative one, there's a huge difference.
At least you put your stash in a drawer, mine are stacked up on the floor at the side of my table!!!

Desk looks fine to me - I always scrap with everything to hand too - basically when I sit at my desk I am there to stay - no point wasting creative energy by getting up is there! Love the sneak peek cant wait to see it all.

Yikes Linda, that is messy!! You must have been too ill to tidy up... you are forgiven! Sorry I am like days late on my visiting but life and a bad toe and other stuff got in the way but i am plowing through the desks...

Julia Dunnit said...

Not only very late, but I started at the other end, so it's been a journey!! Your desk looks welcoming and familiar to me - but am concerned that you seem to have paintbrushes in your coffee mug. Only to save you from any vague nasty tastes you understand.

OMG that's amazing!
