Good Morning WOYWWers! and Good Morning World! This is a picture of my desk that conforms to safety standards as outlined here on The Stamping Ground blog where our illustrious leader Julia Dunnit resides!
I look pretty tidy don't I? Bits and pieces laid out as you would expect to find them! Can you tell what it is yet? If you can ... please leave a comment because right of this moment ... I have n't a clue!
Anyways ... back to the post title!
If I step back ... maybe four or five paces ... well ... that is a whole other story!
I don't look so tidy now ... I have had to move the larger of my blending tool carousels onto my desk as a temporary measure because the cutting station is full of unwanted pieces of cut card and despite it's luxurious sturdiness ... well ... to be honest ... it is beginning to bow under the pressure!
I have taken an arty shot of my Kaiser and Eco paints though ... just so as you know there is an element of organisation in my otherwise chaotic world! And please don't all shout "That aint an arty shot!" It is for me ... David Bailey I am not ... so in focus with caps ... makes it arty from my perspective :0)
I must away ... I am still busy constructing ... but I can't show you that yet ...
Have a good day ...
Laters!

looking good this morning...and i'm with you on the arty photographs!!
Looking beautifully busy as always! I need to copy your idea with your plaques hanging on the wall behind your desk - I have a huge bare white wall that needs filling!
Have a good day.
Tracy :)

I love the desk looking like it's being used for what it was intended :-) I'm sure you'll think of something to do with the bits and pieces without any help from me
Anne xx
Not ried the eco-paints Linda, plenty of craftiness shown on your desk too !!
your choice of feamed shots shows exactly how Arty you are, no need to be so modest...
by the way I think you are making a greater spotted orange thingumee - not to be confused with the lesser orange spotted thingumee
Dx
framed crossed with themed = feamed ( if you could remember that for next time?)!
Desk looks fine to me Linda, don't know what it is yet (said in Rolf Harris stylee) but can't wait to see.
xx
Love your desk always, that red and yellow and orange concotion looks great, it is going to be stunning!
Can't tell what your bits are going to be yet, but they look like the makings of something yummy! Great workspace, and lots of lovely stash to peek at.
It's so good to see that someone else works in a smaller space like me! You have more stash around you (oh, yeah! I'm very envious!) but you appear to work in the same little area as I do. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but ... it's as it is. *lol*
Can't wait to see how your pieces shown come together!
Lol - no don't think I know what you are making but I am sure it will be gorgeous. I love the brown rose on earlier post!
It's amazing what a different camera angle can do !!!!
Not sure what you are creating, but whatever it becomes it's sure to be fabulous.

I love how two different shots can make all the difference, the one focused on your artwork looks very tidy and the artwork is yummy, lovely colours. Then there is the second shot which in our world is very creative not messy. Have a great day, Tracy Evans x
Oh, that birdcage is amazing1 Everything looks fabulous! I need to try those paints! I love the colors!
Hmmm and there was I think how nice and organised your desk looked - but that was before I saw the second picture! I see your plan, however, have two desks then you can work neatly on one and make a big mess on the other?? Good thinking Batman!

Well. I am awash with envy, and that is all I can really say. You have a LOT of awesome stamping stuff that I would basically give my eyeteeth for.
Did you, by any chance, make that cool 'ART' wall hanging that you have just above the desk? I love it.
Amy
Whatever it is going to be - a canvas perhaps? - I'm sure it will be up to your wonderful 'arty' standard. The colours just pop right out. I will await with interest

Lots of loveliness to ogle at. I've been snooping under your desk at the array of alterables waiting there.
Marilyn
No, I don't know what it is either but its gorgeous - especially the colours! I'm not sure about arty, looks more of a why doesn't anything ever stand up properly in those kind of baskets shot to me! Yeah ur not the only one to threaten me with the small print, lol, at least u dont know where I live (I hope!) :)
I'd love to get all inky, but I think I'd need a few lessons first!
If only I lived closer!
Chrissie
I know I am really late this week, but I was glad I made it by to see your creative mess, but most of all, that arty photograph.
You were the one who brought it up, so now I want to see how card stock scraps can cause a sturdy surface to bow under pressure. So NOW YOU MUST show us. Happy belated WOYWW.
