Oh yes people ... tis only TEN more sleeps until I get to rub shoulders and learn amazing stuff from Lord Tim of Holtz and Suze 'Meltpot' Weinberg and Claudine 'collage' Hellmuth! Can you tell how excited I am ... Can you?? Huh??? Can you???
I had a long chat with Anneliese Bates yesterday on the phone ... I say chat ... it was more like 15 minutes of squealing really and we decided to mark the last 10 sleeps in true Lord Tim of Holtz style so without further ado ... Let the Tag countdown to Ranger U commence! Not quite as catchy as the 12 tags of Christmas ... but hey ... we have n't been trained yet :0) If you fancy joining us by making your own tags ... please do and link them here ... that would just be too cool! Anneliese will either be far more organised than me and blogged hers here already ... or she won't and she will blog it later :0)
Right ... down to the nitty gritty ... I have used Ranger Distress Inks ... the colours I have used are Black Soot; Aged Mahogany; Rusty Hinge; Old Paper; Brushed Corduroy; Frayed Burlap and Wild Honey! I used Lord Tim of Holtz's mask, Ornate Frame and philosophy token ... oh yeah and one of his paper clips and his Grungepaper ... you know Tim ... the man that can walk on water while carrying 15 smallish children to safety and entertain them all at the same time with just a piece of Cut 'n' Dry foam and a Gold Acrylic Dabber ... talking of which I used one of those too ... oh a
The stamps I used are Tim's flourish and Wendy Vecchi's Rose, Butterfly and leaves.
Which just leaves me the opportunity to Thank you all for getting excited about this leg of my journey ... you all know what it is like ... trying to explain stuff like Ranger U to non-crafty people ... but you guys ... well ... just Thank you for getting it and for all your lovely comments!
Anyways ... enough of the mush already ... back to reality ... I am off to Happy Dance my way through a whole pile of ironing ... oh yes ... I am that excited :0)

You and Anneliese are going to have the bestest, bestest time ever! I've never known anyone want anything more than you want this. What worries me is how long it's going to take you to come down from cloud nine (aka distress ink heaven). Do you think I should email Tim and warn him what he's let himself in for?

Down to 10 already! Seems like only yesterday is was 47. lol Lovely idea, making the tags for each day, would love to make one, but we'll see how the time goes. I love the colors you used on this one!

Fabulous tag Linda, you know that if we made tags too, ours would be green, because we want to come too. Of course they'd be tastefully green like Bundled Sage and Forest Moss, but you know what I mean!
