A Butterfly Ball!

BF7a0504

Now I know it is not actually a ball ... I did read somewhere that a group of butterflies is known as a Kaleidoscope of Butterflies. I say I read it somewhere ... I may well have dreamt it up ... I do that on occasion ... well quite often actually ... anyways ... I can't spell Kaleidoscope so ... Butterfly Ball it is!

We have a sunny and windy day here in Cambridge ... I don't think I shall venture out ... just stay in and craft ... coool! I am expecting a BF70504 couple of visitors later ... the Crafting recluse in me is saying ... just ignore the door bell ... of course I won't ... that would be rude ... and if they read my blog ... well they are unlikely to come now anyway :0) That was a joke ... of course they don't read my blog!

Okey Dokey ... if you would like to see how I made the Butterfly ... erm ... Ball then all details can be found on the Bubbly Scrumptious blog here.

That is me for now then ... I am way to eat eggs ... yummy chocolate ones ... if anyone knows the correct term for a group of Butterflies ... you know what to do! Would n't it be nice if it was a flutter!

This is soooo pretty! Just what we need to think of better weather and sunnier times. I've just bought the butterfly stamps, and am itching to use them, I suddenly don't feel like doing any housework today...Hope you're having a great Easter, Judith x

Scrumptious! Love this combination of colours and the butterflies are such fun! Is that the big butterfly or the little one??

Lovely ball of flutterbies Linda!! And actually the collective noun for butterflies is a rabble or a kaleidoscope!! I have to admit I prefer your kaliedoscope to the term rabble... it doesn't seem to suit!

Absolutely lovely Linda, pretty sure that a group of butterflies IS a kaleidascope (though no idea how you spell it either), well either that or its an urban myth lol.

Will be taking delivery of my very first Distress Inks in the next couple of days (four of them) and I will be looking back through your blogfor all your fab hints and tips!

Great tip about putting the beads on a pin to get them straight, one of those things that sounds so straight forward yet never would have thought about it myself!
