3 For 1!

WOYWW11703

I am right into this swinging lark now ... and Oh Boy do I have a treat today for all you inquisitive WOYWWers!

Not one ... Not two ... but three ... oh yes ... three desks today! Never let it be said that this girlie does n't know how to multi task.

The first desk is my regular desk ... you will note that I have actually gotten around to hanging some of my beer mats up ... but whatever you do ... don't tell John ... that vein in his neck is gonna pop right out when he sees that I have shoved a load of pins straight into the plasterboard wall ... I am supposed to be waiting for him to put a bit of painted wood up with cup hooks in it ... well it was three days ago when he suggested that ... and to be frank ... I am now sick of waiting :0)

WOYWW21703 Second desk is the dining room table ... I have kits to make up for classes and they are currently in full swing ... I say that ... they were until I stopped to chat to you lot ... now they are just sitting there :0) I am not entirely sure that picture is in focus ... but you get the idea ... to go take another picture would mean getting up and everything!

Last but by no means least ... is my hub of communication ... probably the most important desk of all ... without it I could n't have joined Julia and her coven in the mad and addictive ritual of displaying desks every Wednesday ... just so other like minded people can have a good old rummage through ones bits! This is exactly where I am WOYWW31703 sat ... right this minute ... depending of course what time you are reading this post ... but if it's Wednesday ... well I shall probably be hopping until tea time ... when Dan shall be arriving for a spot of dinner before we start playing ... I would take a piccie of his desk ... but it is very tidy at the moment ... perhaps I will pop back and add it later when he is in full creative swing!

Have a good one everybody ... I will be seeing you shortly no doubt ... and if you have n't joined in this week ... go on! ... What you waiting for? Be a devil ... check out Julia's place for all the details and get playing :0)

Looks great! You're like me..come up with the idea followed by a 'yeah but WHEN?' if not done in 20 minutes! Anyway, as they're all hung in a lovely straight line, it will be easy to put the wooden cup hook thingy over the teeny tiny pin holes!
ANd Ithink a pic of Dan at his desk is obligatory!

well Linda - I think having three desks is just plain greedy!!!LOL!

I thought there was something different about your first desk and thought - hmmm they weren't on the wall last week... ROFL when you said the OH was going to do something 3 days ago and you couldn't wait any longer - try 2 years - thats the average time span in the Gale household!!! Hope you have loads of fun with Dan - please blog the desk when you're in full flow.

Thanks for making me giggle as usual!!

3 desks! My OH would have fit if I stepped one to towards our dining tables, unless there is food in my hands and pins in the wall oh dear that would be a hanging offence. Hugs Pam x

Oooo Mrs 3 desks! And they are looking relatively organised too. I think it's awful you having to wait for your shelf thingy, but 3 days for a man is still nothing, hope it doesn't take 3 months xx

Those pics are faked! The room is littered with dirty laundry, old pizza boxes with half-eaten remnants in them, KFC boxes full of half-gnawed chicken bones spilling out all over the floor.... you've got a nerve fooling all these people! LOL

SueH said...

Wow Linda, those beer mats look amazing.

If OH starts to stress out over the pins in his wall just remind him that he’s going to have to drill holes in it when he puts the wood up and when he does he can put the wood over the teeny, tiny holds that you’ve made. Not a problem!

LOL. Maybe telling John you've had to call Dan over to do his carpentry job will get him to move! It will be done by the time Dan arrives! LOL. Have fun. Do you have a plan/theme for creating? I too have 3 desks - that's my issue with dh! Eek! TFS. ~Glen~
