Simply Stamping!

ACa1601

I describe myself as a challenge junkie ... and these days nothing could be further from the truth! I used to complete a challenge almost every day and recently ... once every few months! So today I am going to start to rectify this misleading description and have taken part in the Allsorts challenge ... which is ... I think ... a good start.

The theme is brown and pink and since I have n't had Tilda or my Promarkers out for ages ... well I thought I would rectify that too. I had forgotten just how therapeutic colouring in is. AC1601 This card was made using the snow cap dabber as a resist with the lovely Agapanthus stamp ... I still find it amazing what you can do with a few stamps some ink and a bit of white card! I actually left some ink on the white dabber too because for this card ... well ... the white was just ... in ya face!

On a different note ... Thank you for all your warming comments on Thursday :0) ... the heating and hot water was restored finally at 6.30pm and it seems to be working better than ever at the moment ... I did n't resort to putting my coat on ... just a few well timed ... do be quiet looks at John did the trick! Mind you ... when Mr Heating chappy left ... John said ... Blimey he could talk could n't he? Amazing! The poor chap was n't speaking to himself!

Lovely card Linda. I know what you mean about your heating chappie, our joiner was here for two hours last night discussing our kitchen refit and most of that was nothing to do with the kitchen.

Isn't it amazing what you can create with stamps and ink? Who needs papers, lol, pretty though they may be :) Great use of the Agapanthus.

Just love the resist background. I have yet to meet a tradesman who couldn't talk the hind leg off a donkey. I think it's a module on their apprenticeship.lol

I love that background Linda - trying not to look directly at Tilda but around her (I was fine with the clowns, send in the clooooowns.) I haven't tried resist I don't think so will have to give that a go definitely.

Beautiful card Linda and the resist background is extra special. You've reminded me I haven't used that technique in a while and I need to do so again!

A really pretty card, like the used of the agapanthus (Stampendous P107 I wonder - my all time favourite stamp - so sad that I rememebr the code).

Rotten time of year for the heating to go wrong, bet you are pleased it's sorted.

Thanks for joining in the fun at Allsorts tyhis week.

Love these images, the card is so beautiful. I'm with you on the therapeuticness (is that a word!!) of colouring, I love it!! I need to get myself some pro markers, must pop them on the list of 'needed' items.
