Simples!

Beer6a

Just a quick post from me today ... I have soooooo much to do and soooooo little time!

This time my beer mat [coaster] is coloured with Fired Brick distress ink and decorated using Wendy Vecchi stamps. The dymo words were made by me ... but they are of course the well known signature of the great lady herself and I really hope she does n't mind me borrowing them!

I had also added some Idea-ology bits and cannot Beer6 take credit for the butterfly body ... that is another borrowed idea ... apart from the beads ... don't tell me ... that is the only bit you don't like :0)

I need to know if I am the only person in the entire universe that does this ... so just between you and me ... promise not to tell anyone else ... Do you sometimes forget how to spell really simple words? I put the black tape into the Dymo this morning and punched in M-A-K-E ... then I thought ... that does n't look right ... the more  I looked at it ... the more wrong it looked ... So I had to get Wendy's Make Art stamp out just to check ... Don't forget you promised not to tell! But has that ever happened to you??? Or is it just me???

Have a good weekend everyone!

The only bit I don't like about this is that it is at your house, and not mine LOL I love this, the colours are PERFECT...and don't worry hunny, your secret is safe with me...I was the one who had to get a dictionary to find out how to spell .... antidisestablishmentarianism ROFL xx

Hope you don't mind me asking...You call what you make beer mats...are they not to busy to stand a glass of drink on? or is that not what they are to be used for? They are just sooo pretty. A x

Just looooove this one too! Your addiction for Wendy Vecchi is as bad as mine! (actually, no, you've got me beat) Yes, I hate the way when you spell something and it looks wrong even when it's right.

I used the word 'contents' in white alpha stickers on a layout earlier and it looked so strange and mis-spelt that I changed the title (for the better tbh, butthat's not the point!) I think somewhere deep down you get so anxious about getting it right that you don't 'see' it properly. Huh? I know what I maen. Love the beer mat by the way!

Devon asked me how to spell desert yesterday - I couldn't for the life of me remember how many S's there were. We had to spell check it in the end.

This is gorgeous that shade of red is yum and I love the beads ;) I am going to have to buy some more distress inks thanks to you. I only have 4 - you should start charging commission definitely.

Love this one ... the colour is so vibrant yet mellow ... both at the same time.

I am always calling out to anyone who is around 'How do you spell ...' but If I really should know it I spell check it . My Mum was a fantastic speller ...right to her death at 83 ...but one word haunted her and she always had to ask ..she wanted to spell fifteen, fiveteen ...no matter how many times she was given the spelling.

Linda -

Love the coaster/beer mat. And Honey, you are not the only one who looks at a common used word and thinks to herself, this looks wrong. I too, have done that. Along the same lines, I've even done that when driving to the office in the morning. I distinctly remember a morning going in early and (I've been driving this road for years) and getting to the fork on the highway and suddenly drawing a blank. I couldn't remember which lane to take! Thank god it was early and nobody was behind me. It seemed like forever before I remembered but I know it really was only seconds. But boy, did that throw a scare into me - LOL!
