Think Monday Think ATC!

ATC 280

It has been ages since I did a blog challenge ... so I thought I would give men with beards a go. It is the challenge this week over on TMTA.

The frame is metal and stamped with the Crafty Individuals Queen for a day stamp ... so I doctored it a bit! Well a lot really! He does have a beard ... you just have to squint to see it!

The very handsome chappy is Oxford Impressions. Right ... now what to do next? ... some cards? or maybe ... another challenge?

Another New Favourite!

I have completely fallen in love with the set of Pro Markers that I got for my birthday. I say the set ... I actually mean the half set that have turned up so far ... the rest should be here soon ... I hope!!!

This first Tilda was coloured in with distress inks ... which I thought looked pretty good and then ... well I discovered pro markers!!!

The colouring was finished in a fraction of the time  and I just love the result.

I can have my Tildas any colour I like now and ... my Stitchels flowers ... How cool is that?

I am one happy bunny! You know what they say ... small things ...

Time to 'Fess up!

Tilda 1 That is what they call it these days ... is n't it? ... Fessing up! Well ... I have a huge one ... confession I mean! I have been and bought some Tilda stamps!

I know, I know ... I said I did n't like her! I said horrible things about her! I said it was abnormal to Tilda 2 have a child without a mouth! I poked fun at my friends when they bought her! I have been so rude and yes ... now I am a complete hypocrite!

There I 've done it!

I don't know what happened ... I am right into my colouring at the moment ... she is good to colour! And No! ... I did n't just stop at one either! And yes ... I really do think she is actually quite cute!

The List!

List1

At midday'ish my friend Hels challenged me with a list!

A list of stuff that I could use to make something; in order that I could locate my MOJO and hopefully hers at the same time!

We have tried this before and it has been 100% accurate in the past ... well ...erm ... we actually only tried it once before! *LOL*

Anyways ... the list was as follows:-List2

Canvas, Chalk Inks, Stampbord, Stamps and ink for the stamps ... oh and some embellishments.

We then agreed to blog our efforts at 9pm this evening!

List3 Well it is 9pm and here is mine! Hopefully Hels' will be here!

Not sure if I found my MOJO but it was good fun!

If you have misplaced your MOJO please feel free to join in with the list - you never know you might find it!

Not So Cute!

boy16

What is it about boy cards that make them so tricky? Is it because there are only so many TV remote cards that you can make?

And why are teenage boys even trickier? Is it because they rarely do much other than grunt [in my experience] and it is difficult to work out what they like? Answers on a boy16a postcard please :0))

Well I can't be accused of only making cute cards now can I? This is one of my favouritist stamps [today anyway!]... He is from Stampotique, designed by Daniel Torrente and I love him! Not Daniel ... Although I am sure he is quite lovely I have n't actually met him ... it is the stamp I love :0))

boy16b He certainly aint cute but he seemed just right for the boy aged 16 card that I have on order ... yes you know who you are!

I am having a play around with more boy 16 cards tonight ... so watch this space!

Back To Basics!

MD1

Well! My MOJO may have left me, but luckily my basic card making skills are still in tact!

So today I have been having fun with Johanna Sheen's ballet bunny. I am not really a cute card kind of a girl but I think this range are fabulous.

I have MD2 started with one for my Mum and one for OH's Mum ... now I shall make a few for the charity ... I might get a couple of Easter cards from this design MD3too!

As my craft room is so tidy I had room to play with my camera ... a few  arty shots me thinks ... well maybe not ... but hopefully the pictures are not so blurred that you can't see the depth. *LOL*

No Crafting for an Eternity ...

... Apart from this! My very first dip into the life of a circle journaller. Yes I know that is n't a real word!

Real life has taken over here and I have misplaced my MOJO. I aCJ9m sooooo glad I signed up for the circle journal before stuff started happening though! Otherwise I doubt I would have even done this!

It is not all bad stuff  ... my baby is getting CJ7 married ... to the nicest guy ever and I am chuffed to bits. The wedding fairs and shopping have already started ... the venue is booked ... a castle ... all very exciting!

On the downside I have been made redundant after 25 years with the same company ... not the end of the world I know ... but a bit of a shock to the system all the same! What to do now?

CJ8 Back to the CJ ... I was delighted with my Claudine Hellmuth and Stitchel's flowers vintage cover ... the picture does n't really do it justice ... but I love it and that is the main thing!

That got posted off on the 1st of February 2009 and should be back home before the end of the year.

The other sneaky peaks are part of the book that I posted off yesterday ... the theme of this one was vintage Christmas and I loved working on it.

Hopefully I won't be so long in between posts next time ... Thank you for sticking with me through my dry spell guys.
