It's all distressed!

SWO

I don't know about 'it' ... I am certainly distressed. I think I may have found an ickle biddy problem with the idyllic god that is Mr Tim Holtz. We all know how much I love him ..... don't we?????

Well I still cannot get his bloomin distress powders to work and I have tried everything ..... yup ..... I do mean everything!!! Any tips please leave them in the comments - I am one desperate crafter!

The minute I rub .... the whole bloomin lot comes off and leaves a sticky mess! I don't think I am particularly heavy handed .... well I have n't had any complaints so far!!!

Anyway - moaning aside I have had a productive day .... I have managed to make five cards this afternoon. No new designs, I am afraid, so I won't bore you with them here!

I have also managed to distress the above tag for the new Saturday Workout Challenge which started today!

I LOVE your tag!!

I don't know why the powders aren't working for you, but Tim Holtz actually answered and email question I sent him....I never expected to hear back because he's so busy, but he did answer!! Why don't you send him the question?? I'm sure he'd love to help!

Your tag is GREAT!

What a divine tag Linda...that stamp is so gorgeous! As for the Distress Powders, apparently, if you shake them up in the pot before sprinkling, this makes the release crystals combine with the heaty ones and then when you heat them the releasey ones should ...er...release...however, this has never worked for me either LOL. Loving this tag more than I love Tim Holtz!!!

Beautiful distressing Linda... and thank you for the comment you left on my blog. ;-]
I have found that I don't like Perfect Pearls too much, so I haven't even bothered with his powders.... sometimes I wonder if we're not just a bit starstruck by the undeniable talent of the man/god himself...
Still, each to their favourite stuff I guess!!

Linda, this tag is to die for, if it needs a good home i am very loving and caring and would take great care of it :Op
As for your distressed problem, are you letting the powders cool completly, i found if you leave them to cool longer it seems to work better when you rub off the excess crystals.
