Hidden Depths!

Yup - you have guessed it .... another challenge. This is my first forum challenge on the Crafts by Carolyn forum. It was set by Angelnorth and is called .... Hidden Depths. The challenge was to include something hidden in your project.

I say project, on reading the challenge again, I see it actually says "your Card or Layout" which technically means that I may have gone off half cocked and a bind-it-all book does n't qualify at all! Hey-Ho I had lots of fun and the title inspired me .... so Thank you Angelnorth.

My cover was made with Basic Grey, Fusion [total eclipse] a bit of Ranger Acrylic [citrus] dabber on a chip board plate and a couple of lime green brads .... which I have no idea where they came from or even how long they have been cohabiting in my stash box!!!

The rest of the book was made with Paper Artsy Pierrot Plate 1, Adirondak pens and a Crafty Individuals background stamp.

I basically stamped the outline image with Versafine blue lagoon and then gradually cut bits off each page. The only bits that I coloured in were the bits that made up the very first picture. I liked the effect of leaving large parts uncoloured. and I thought it fitted with hidden depths.

Sadly I have no idea how to put this on as a slide show because, as you can imagine the moving effect is much more exciting than just a flat photo but I am afraid these will have to do for now.

I would love to know what you think!
